Welcome to Woodlands Small Wildlife Rescue

Here at Woodlands Small Wildlife Rescue we have a mission to rescue injured or orphaned small wild animals and birds. We hope to rehabilitate and release them (where possible) back into the wild. Occasionally we also offer sanctuary for some animals and work along side other rehabbers across the country to ensure they receive the best care possible and find new loving homes. We receive no government funding and rely solely on the generosity of our followers and the public.

Services

Advice and Support

Although we have opening hours we don't stop providing around the clock care for animals and support for the public.

Rehabilitation and Release

We work closely with vets and other rehabbers across the country and have successfully rehabilitated and released many wild animals over the years.

Reunite

We provide a safe haven for small animals who are lost and work with pet lost and found sites to track down owners.

What should I do if I find a baby animal on the ground?

If you find a baby animal on the ground, observe from a distance to see if the parents return. If not, contact us for advice. Not all baby animals need rescuing.

“This lady came out and collected an injured pigeon that my daughter found. Very good communication, kept me updated with everything she was planning. Pigeon is alive and well, and will be released shortly. Well recommended, very friendly and knowledgeable. ”
